Applicants simply need to log on to the <a href=\"http:\/\/evisa.gov.tr\"><span class=\"s1\">e-Visa website<\/span><\/a>, provide the required information, pay online and download their visa. However, please note that the e-Visa is only valid for tourism or business travel. For other purposes, such as study or work, a regular visa must be obtained from the Turkish Embassies or Consulates. In addition, passports must be valid for at least six months beyond the expiration date of the visa requested.    <\/p><p class=\"p1\">New visa rules regulating the stay of foreigners in Turkey entered into force on 1 February 2012. According to these rules, all foreigners can stay in Turkey for a maximum of 90 days in every 180 days. Yachtsmen wishing to stay longer must apply for a Residence Permit.  <\/p><p class=\"p1\"><i>You can contact us for detailed information.<\/i><\/p><p class=\"p1\"><b>Entry and Exit Procedures <\/b><\/p><ul class=\"ul1\"><li class=\"li1\">Yachts entering or leaving Turkey are processed at border ports.<\/li><li class=\"li1\">For yachts that apply to a port for wintering, the necessary paperwork procedures are carried out at the port of entry or at the mooring place.<\/li><\/ul><p class=\"p1\"><b>Documents Required for Customs Clearance <\/b><\/p><ul class=\"ul1\"><li class=\"li1\"><b>Yacht Registration<\/b> (Original)<\/li><li class=\"li1\"><b>Insurance Certificate<\/b> (Original)<\/li><li class=\"li1\"><b>Crew and Passenger Passports<\/b><\/li><li class=\"li1\"><b>Crew and Passenger List<\/b><\/li><li class=\"li1\"><b>Yacht Captain Certificate<\/b> (Original)<\/li><li class=\"li1\"><b>Certificate of Authorization<\/b> (Original\/Captain&#8217;s name)<\/li><li class=\"li1\"><b>Certificate of Ownership<\/b> (Original\/In the name of the owner)<\/li><li class=\"li1\"><b>Transit Log &#8211; Yacht Registration Form<\/b><\/li><li class=\"li2\"><br><ul class=\"ul1\"><li class=\"li1\">The Transit Log is a permit to sail in Turkish waters and enter ports. The formalities are completed at the port of entry. <\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ul><p class=\"p1\"><b>Import of Yacht Parts <\/b><\/p><p class=\"p1\">Foreign yacht owners are allowed to import spare parts and equipment for use on their yachts duty-free. Such parts are recorded in the yacht inventory. For detailed information you can contact Satori Yachts offices.  <\/p><p class=\"p1\"><b>Underwater Diving <\/b><\/p><p class=\"p1\">Sportive diving is allowed in unlimited areas with appropriate equipment.<\/p><ul class=\"ul1\"><li class=\"li1\">Foreign divers must be able to document their official qualification.<\/li><li class=\"li1\">Diving should be carried out with guides who have a sport diver license.<\/li><li class=\"li1\">The maximum diving depth is 30 meters and can reach up to 42 meters for training dives.<\/li><li class=\"li1\"><b>In order to protect Turkish archaeological and natural treasures, depths above 30 meters require special equipment when diving.<\/b><\/li><\/ul><p class=\"p3\">It is strictly forbidden to carry Turkish antiques or natural artifacts.
